 Hi Zeba,

I really enjoyed reading Unit 2's website submission from your group. The use of headings and media helped with the flow of reading. I would use more citing however, for instance on the first paragraph under the heading "Psychological factors" when you linked social media to anxiety and depression. Also, according to APA format, if you use a direct quote you should always cite a page number (in_text_citations_the_basics.html). I thought the use of the linear graph discussing self-esteem, shyness and social anxiety was really neat- I've not ever looked into that aspect. Thank you for posting that, I learned a lot with that. A few grammatical errors were noted, for instance on the caption of that graph there was a " used at the end of the sentence, but nowhere else to show where the quote started. I would be careful to state thoughts/opinions like "women are wanting to get married in order to start a family" without backing that up with research as that tends to lead to gender-specific roles that are rapidly changing in this day and age (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00050060500391860). 

I enjoyed the 2019 article but the same caption was used for both images regarding social anxiety and self-esteem, was this on purpose? I really enjoyed your section on cognition, especially as it relates to hormone fluctuations- that was a very interesting read! The media related to that study was a helpful visual, great job on that! I enjoyed learning through the YouTube video as well on the effects of estrogen on the brain. The infographic attached to the aspects of emotions was helpful as well and well placed on the website. Your implications section was summarized well, although I would've liked to have read a bit more on how to better help ourselves if we are in this age category. The number of media images was correct and well placed and aided in the educational components of the site.

  Hello Brittany   I really enjoyed learning more about conventional medicine. You provide detailed and coherent information on the topic presented. I enjoyed about your post is learning more about the diagnosis and how it impacts females in adolescent years. I also enjoyed that you provided a paragraph that shares more information regarding conventional medicine and how it impacts people. You did a great job defining conventional medicine and how it impacts adolescents. You also shared some evidence -based data on how adolescents rely on traditional medicine to make changes in their life. I also enjoyed that the pictures were clearly labels and describes how the pictures are related to the content.    Blog review: Conventional Medicine in Children This blog was very interesting to me as I had never heard of Turner Syndrome before. It was very informative and was very specific in how it affects female children, specifically. This review had all the elements such as the description of what Turner syndrome is as well as detailed information about growth hormone therapy. It was interesting to learn that hormone therapy can have several negative side of effects and disadvantages for this population, one being the slipping of the capital femoral epiphysis. All of the heading in this blog were added appropriately and the blog was organized in a way that was easy to read and clear. I did not spot any grammatical errors and the paragraphs were cohesive.
